Hi, this is my writing. we are learning to do information reports and this is one about Polar Bears. Enjoy.
Polar Bears
Polar bears are really interesting creatures.
I mean, who would have thought that they have black skin?!
Well, I think that and you might too when you read this
report about them. In this report you will find out what
they eat, what their dangers are, where they live and their
characteristics.

Polar Bears eat seals, fish and small/dead whales.
When the seals pop their heads out of a breathing hole to,
well, breath the polar bears will sneak up on them and whack
them across the face and then demolish them into their
greedy mouths. Did you know that the male polar bears
might kill the cubs? This is why the mother trys to keep
the males away from the mothers cubs.

You may think that polar bears don't have a lot of dangers.
Well, they don't. But they have a few terrible dangers.
Global Warming for one and humans for the other. Global
Warming is slowly melting their icy habitat. Us, well were
worse. Humans are hunting and decreasing the polar bears
population by quite a lot. Now, going back to Global Warming.
Polar Bears are not aquatic creatures so if the ice melts completely they could become extinct within days.

Where do polar bears live?
Polar bears live in the Arctic not the antarctic.
They also live in Alaska, Russia and America. When the
mother Polar Bear becomes pregnant they will dig a burrow
and live there for 10-13 weeks (about three months). They
will dig it on a slope so the in the rare case of a
landslide their way out does not get blocked.

The cubs stay in the burrow with the mother for his

will feed the cubs with her creamy milk while she doesn't
have anything to eat herself.

Polar Bears are big aggressive creatures and are very
territorial. Polar Bears look cute but they are not actually
as cute as you think. The fur is hollow which means that
they keep in the warm air and the cold air can't always get
in. Their fur is also transparent which makes the white
snow reflect.

So there we have it, Polar Bears amazing bodies and
life style. They are really fascinating creatures and
look quite cute but believe me when I say this. You would
not want to come face to face with one. And if you did,
well... your skrewed.
What Would you do if you met a Polar Bear?

I hope you learnt something. (:
