 SLJ. today we did a task that we had to make a slideshow about a video and what they said. we have also been doing summer learning journey in the last week and some of the tasks are really fun!

"Don't let the pigeon eat the taco. I am just going to do a number two.
I'll be 20 minutes." Bobby said. "OK Boomer," said Sam. "Mmmmmm!!!"
off he went and the pigeon looked joyful, watching the taco eye to eye. "Nope, you aren't going anywhere!" said Sam. "Ooahh!" said the pigeon. 20 minutes passed and the pigeon was no longer at the house. He was at a taco shop. A grumpy old man said that the pigeon cannot come into the
taco shop because it would smell gross. And then when the pigeon flew into the shop window the servant said "go away, go away. We don't want
you here." so the pigeon went to find another window at the factory.
And then finally he reached what he wanted, a taco that smells really gross
but when he eats it it tastes really good. The man came out of the toilet
and fell into the dumpster. "You dirty pest pigeon you ate my taco and made me fall into the trash bin!" the grumpy old man said. "But I thought you lived there, in the trash."

We had to choose a picture out of four pictures. i choose one that i thought looked cool. we planed five senses with a table (on our Chromebooks) and then we did five paragraphs collaboratively in a group of three people. Next we introduced our monsters that we drew at the start of the term. (click here to see it!). We then wrote a problem and we put all of it on a google slide.

My Monster

Hi this is my monster work that I have been working on for the last two weeks in writing. we read the where the wild things are. we had to choose four animals and combine them to make a monster of our own. this is my google drawing  that I traced from pictures.

this is my character description

My animal's name is Cole. And yes, he is a boy. But he is huge! And very strong. He has the most powerful jaw in the world. He has ADHD but he only acts out if he is really triggered.
He is really nice though. He is also very careful with what he does.

He lives in the jungle and has many predators. He sleeps underneath trees. He is liked by a lot of the rest of his family. So I guess you could call him popular.

He eats rats, tigers, snakes, piranhas and electric eels. He has massive tusks that are... 17 cm long and 6 cm wide!. He is super fast and can reach up to 240 miles per hour!!!

 He is a mix between, a wolf, a saber tooth tiger, a hippopotamus and a cheetah. His mom was a hippo and a saber tooth tiger. His dad was a wolf and a cheetah. That is why he is a mix of these animals and not just one animal. I am good friends with him, he is really nice to know.
